I had a single chick hatch, so decided to buy a couple more day old chicks to keep it company. The lady I got these from said these came from eggs she bought and were sold to her as being a new breed, called a Domino chicken. I looked up Domino chickens and those are a clean legged bird. These look more like Cochin chicks to me. They have feathered legs, four toes, and the leg feathering extends along the outer toe. The black feathers go all the way to the skin, not just the tips. Is there such a variety as a Paint Cochin?
