So the ONE time I buy sexed pullets, I’m kicking myself because these BOTH look like cockerels.... but I’ve never had Cochins so I want other opinions....( thinking maybe they are different because of their breed? I honestly don’t know much about the breed, except that they have “fuzzy” legs. My daughter picked these out and they are hers, but we already have a roo so I’m lost as to what to do if these are Roos. Both pics are a different chick. Both are right about 4 weeks old.

Boys.

Ugh. That’s what everyone’s saying. :(. Now I have to figure out what to do. These are my daughters chicks. She’s 15 and JUST got to the point where she’s somewhat happy out of the city. And these chicks are the reason. So now we have to give them away and hope I can find a couple pullets to her liking around the same age. :/. ( we already have a rooster. He’s a buff Orpington. I guess I could give him away. But he attacked my son the other day And while he didn’t do any damage ( no spurs yet. Just little nubs) that was his second strike. And I’d hate to just send my problem roo off to someone else. :/.

Cochins are nice. Maybe switch out your roos.

You might want to consider putting him in a Chicken Rooster Stew pot. You don't have to tell the kids if you don't want too. Perhaps he flew away or a predator disappeared him.
I don't know but, a few weeks ago, I helped my neighbor Cull her two Roosters after they attacked their two sons ages 3 & 6. She said that was the best decision ever. Now, she has a nice BO like you and he is nice so far. Some are just nasty boys especially when they are Cockerels and they do not know how to act right with their hormones ranging. Sorry you have to experience that decision.

I thought about that but I use my roo to breed and I’d rather not breed half Cochins. Lol. :/

No need to make a hasty decision.
It might be best to talk it over with your daughter now that you know you have Cockerels.
She is a teenager now and she may have an idea or a suggestion.
So, tell her since they are hers therefore, she can decided what she wants to do.
Never Know, she might surprise you!
You'll probably come out ahead if you do that.
No harm done by talking to her with an adult matter and decision. If she choices to keep them, then help her make her own BYC account on here and we can help her think it through. We have other teenagers on here too that are learning and planning to build their own coops.
