Cochin thread!

I have three! Two red bantam Cochins, a hen and rooster, and one white hen! There names are Holly (red hen), Red (the rooster), and Hylia (the white one, she is named after a goddess) I dont have pictures at the moment, but I will be posting them!

The large fowl or standard Cochins can get pretty good sized—up to 8 lbs for hens. The bantams are pretty little though, a couple pounds or so

I wish this picture had a scale reference, but she’s my teeny tiny solid black Cochin. The other three are either blue or a messy black/gray color.

How big do Cochins usually get?

My bantam cochin mixes are around 2lbs, but they are 1/4 brahma so are a bit large for what a bantam cochin should be.

I have one bantam Cochin named Bella. I bought her like...2 days ago But I fell in love with the breed even before I owned one!
