Cochin Thread!!!

I am new to bantam Cochins. A friend sent me bantam buff Brahma eggs and added two bantam Cochin eggs and both hatched giving me a pure white and a Mille Fleur rooster. I am in love with these guys

I think the white rooster is especially nice. They are 8 weeks old. Feedback would be great

Looking good at 8 weeks. But remember, be patient with Cochins, they tend to mature at the pace of a turtle walking through peanut butter. Give it 8 more weeks, he will look like a totally different bird.

I just noticed you are working on BLR. I would love to hear how you are going about that and seeing pictures

I have the bantam BLRWs and was thinking how pretty a BLR bantam Cochin would look

chickee, you're right BLR's are gorgeous! heres some pics of mine from my own breedings, this is dad and here's his son from this year who is going to look twice as good

Very nice looking. He looks Birchen with Gold where Silver should be. Not a recognized variety but STUNNING.
