Just wanted to note, I have 2 LF silver laced cochin girls. They have semi-adopted my broody's baby. If I forget to put up the ramp to the coop so that the baby can get in there, one of the silver laced girls will stay out of the coop at lockup, and let the baby sit under her. It used to be the broody mom who did this but she is getting tired of being mom and has started just going in the coop without her baby. My silver laced girls stay out and "babysit" until I show up and put the baby in. It's terribly cute and quite awesome considering my silver laced girls are only about 4-5 months old and not even laying yet.
 
i took this pic today of my banty cochin roo and 2 of his ladies- it was hot and i put icecubes on the cover of the run... looks like they are giving him an earful, but in reality the are drinking the drops off of his neck as the ice melted, he stood under it...

I am in Washington state and I am looking for some silverlaced LF cochins (hens and roosters) as well as blue/black/splash LF cochins (both sexes) and white bantam cochin hens. if anybody has anything for sale could you let me know?
