ok, well for starters i'd say she's a HE... beyond that no idea. Please be critical and tell me what's wrong with this girl as far as showing goes. She's hatchery quality and I want to know exactly what to avoid/look for when choosing show chicksShe's a sweetie and the reason I chose to show Cochins, so she's not going anywhere. I have a buff guy that I'll post when I can get a better pic. Thanks!![]()

Quote: only thing i can say is wait and see... there's no guessing what might be hiding behind solid colored birds.
The comb looks more red in this pic than in person. What else makes you think this is a roo? This is my first set of Cochins, so I'm just learning about them and any info is appreciated. I was so hoping for a hen!ok, well for starters i'd say she's a HE... beyond that no idea. Please be critical and tell me what's wrong with this girl as far as showing goes. unless that's a pullet of 3 months old or more, i'd say it's a roo just for the amount of comb grown in...
This girl actually has pretty good lacing, she needs a little work mostly in the area of the cushion, but mostly I'd just focus on type. For a SL she is a excellent addition to a breeding program. I really hope someone breeding SL gets her.you can also use excellent typed columbians to improve your silver laced too... F1 bred back to silver laced and again keep the ones with the thinnest lacing/type
