I know nothing about your feed in PA. I do like pellet feeds over mash type for birds over 3 months old. It guaranties that they get a balanced feed as opposed to some birds just picking through the mash which I have had happen in the past. I am a stickler for reading the labels when comparing feeds.Thank you but right now i am using Dumor poultry adult pellet feed should i switch to something different
Look cool! He seems to be a mottled/birchen bird. Here is an interesting little fella. This guy is what showed me my Partridge Rooster was split for mottling. I first saw the white feathers and posed him here a few months ago, thinking maybe he was from a birchen programAs he grew you kind folks here told me he was mottled. Because he is split on the e locus, he has fantastic yellow legs and feet.
A downside is the red leakage in the hackles, giving them a yellow appearance.
Here he is now at the farm. He is with a breeder friend on the farm.
His erm "butt" changed completely.
