I love Snoodle. Aren't they just sweethearts? My only Cochin acts exactly like yours and it's for that reason that I love her so much. Looks like you got a good one too. This is my Bantam Cochin Frizzle:(That's the best I can do with the pic; I even tried to edit it and make it large. Sorry) This is when she was just getting good and feathered out. I'll get a current picture of her soon, if anyone wants to see it. Her name is Snoodle (after the VeggieTales character who couldn't fly; DH named her that). She's our only pet chicken, b/c she has fallen me in love with her. lol We (more DH than me) would NEVER buy a pet chicken, but we ended up with her on accident, so I tell DH he can't eat her b/c us having her was an act of God (which I truly believe). Anyway, she's my Snoodle Doodle Baby Girl and I love her. She's so sweet, she actually comes up to me to be petted, which I never expected any of my chickens to do. lol
And yours is just absolutely beautiful, isn't she? Thanks for sharing!
meteor or comet since he is mottledHah, Orion is actually this cockerel's "daddy".
meteor or comet since he is mottled
Maybe a short version of it then.: Mr. GI like those! I was thinking maybe Galileo, but I suppose that might sound a little too sophisticated for a chicken.
I have a Self-Blue named Zephyrmeteor or comet since he is mottled
I have a lemon blue named Arabella which my family thought was a crazy name for a chicken but we all have a Cochin and they picked their names. I like the name Arabella so I named her that because it made me happy but any way what I'm trying to say is it doesn't matter if it is or not as long as it makes you happy..I like those! I was thinking maybe Galileo, but I suppose that might sound a little too sophisticated for a chicken.

Yup, and I have Cochins because I got chickens as stress relief, not to make money or fame - lol.I have a lemon blue named Arabella which my family thought was a crazy name for a chicken but we all have a Cochin and they picked their names.
