I personally know of nobody working with Lemon Blues. The person I did know working with them decided to quit and work with recognized varieties..Does anyone know where I can buy lemon blue cochins? I really want to add some to my flock and I am having trouble finding them, I know its not a recognized color but I didn't think it would be this hard to find!
Try lucky pickens.
Very pretty. I have 4 blacks I' growing out, 2 girls, and 2 boys. I hope they look that nice. I plan on breeding bbs with the blue boy above, and my blue hen.

LOL I just went thru the pics folder and found the first one that was close to fitting the standard... I still think juvenile LF look like baby wookies, but that's just me. LOL
think i'll stick with my bantam cochins and the Dorkings for LF...

Thank you =) I like the bantams more than the LF in cochins so it will work for me. The main reason I would like to get some is not only the color but my daughter is interested in seeing what colors can make what so it will be a nice project for us to do togetherRoslyn Pickens is on facebook as well as ebay. she doesn't do byc much anymore I don't think. she is working on a variety of different colors. IMO she's a good place to start, so you can develop and improve your own lines. but I think she only does bantams not LF. so depends on what you're looking for. her ebay user name is luckypickens.
I might add, I've had several shipments of eggs from her over the years, in a number of different varieties. some have better type than others, but I don't think I'd consider any of them show quality. they're all good project starters tho.
