Thank you! Its very hard to find the LF cochin in Florida, at least I'm not finding them.

yes it is hard to find LF Cochins in FL. I live in the Orlando area and it took me a while but I was able to piece together a small flock from local breeders. There not show quality but they give me something to work with and I love them.

Miss Lavender is out of her molt finally. Her Little Cinder is in an awkward phase but looking like she is going to have some pretty splashes.

Question, my 14 week old cochin pullet weighs 2lbs 11oz would she be considered bantam or standard? I bought her from a feed store at about 4 weeks old so her age is an estimate. She looks rather large compared to my 8 week old bantam silkies. I was slso told she's a bantam but I've been told a lot of things from this feed store that aren't exactly true. Thanks for the help!

For reference my 21 week old easter egger is 3lbs 9oz and my 8 week old faverolle is 1lb 8oz.

I have some nice Standard Cochins roosters for sale. I live in Fountain Florida, that's in NW Fl. They are breeding age now and I have 9 chicks from them already. There are 4 Splash and 2 blues. I'm asking 20.00 each. So if anyone's interested let me know. We had a pair of dogs attack them this summer and kill a lot of the females,so we just have to many males now.

I would love a blue rooster!!! I'm going to look and see how far you are from me. I'm in central florida.

I have a couple really nice blues out there. I'm about 1 1/2 from Tallahassee. Think it's about 70 miles to there from here.
