Cochin Thread!!!

Can you post some pics? I guess I could look back through this thread for colors, but I'm lazy lol. I have 3 that hatched about 10 days ago. They all started out kinda blackish, one is staying fairly black, the others are getting lighter grey. I dont what they will end up looking like!

They are all so pretty, solid colors. I'm partial to the lavender, as I have lavender orpingtons too. I think my cochin babies are maybe going to be mottled? I don't know. I'll get some new pics soon. Thank you!

Yah! I finally found an active cochin thread!

I have only 1 adult and she is a blue. She's from a hatchery where my new chicks are from a known breeding farm close to me. I hope to post better pics soon of my chicks once the coop #2 and run build are done. Cochins will all be together and away from my unruly mob where they can breed true.

WVduckchick do u have pics of your chicks. I dont have Mottled but I have Blue split to Mottled so I could probably help with color!
