Can you knowledgeable folks give me your opinions of my blue barred boy? I'm planning to cross him with some nice black barred ladies next spring in hopes of improving the barring on his offspring. Is that the right approach?

Hey what will happen if I cross a spalsh Blue Laced Red Wyndotte rooster with Blue and Barred Standard Cochin hens? Wil I get mostly Blue and Splash color birds from the spalsh-Blue crossing?

I am not too familiar with Blue Barred breeding, so I am not sure but you would get about half blue barred and have black Barred. I would suspect if the black barred hen has nice barring it would improve. Do the breeding and let up know how it turns out.
