Maybe put her chicks in a box next to you where she can see them! Worth a try!

The chicks are right by her when I try. I just take her off the chicks, but she keeps squirming and ends up flying away.

How about wrapping her in a towel and cover her head. I don't envy you on this! Good luck!

Works every time for me. Puts them in a "stupor".

I've operated on bumblefoot and eye absess and my bird didn't "budge an inch.

The soft gray are my splash, the softly muted chipmunk stripe is possibly from my Mille Fleur Cochins? I'm not sure, the only eggs I gathered from my pens were splash and the Mille Fleurs. I'm confused on those as well! I also was given 2 chicks that are soft gray with yellow heads, she said possibly lavenders, not sure about that either, I've never had a lavender chick before! Guess I'll have to wait a few weeks to figure it out! Maybe someone else knows?

I need to get some updated pics. She (I think) is growing fast and is a scruffy, but beautiful, silver all over. I've got 16 more, from three different breeders, in the hatcher now. If you want to see some great lavender info. and pics go to the self blue/lavender thread, I think Coopa Camana posted the link before. I haven't figured out how to post links yet.

What a pretty chick! AND you have 16 more!! You're so lucky. I have 5 laveneder eggs in the incubator, 2 more weeks to go, I hope I get some cause after seeing those on the lavender thread I just have to have some!
