it's funny I have a 6 stall horse barn that has been about half way converted to chicken pens and coops... Not to mention the 2 booders on the porch, 2 brooders in the house, and 10 pens housing seramas and bantam cochins on my porch too..and yes I do have empty cages.. Hahaha!

Jeff was pretty bummed out today when he realized his garden tool shed has now become another chicken coop!

I convinced my husband to turn our garden shed into a coop too!!!!
Hey - as far as adictions go; we could do worse. Actually, I call my chickens "Therapy".

I like it. Chicken Therapy. Chicken treats have got to be cheaper than a therapist. I feel better already.

WOO HOO! Bantam Cochin Popcorn is a popin in my bator right now! So far 1 Silver Laced, 5 MFC project, 3 Mottled, and 3 Birchen.. Plus non-cochin related I have 5 Seramas, 2 Bantam Lavender Ameraucanas, 2 Lavender Split Ameraucanas, and 1 Buff Laced Sebright! Plus 40ish looked pipped and it's still early into day 20!!

a Cochin thread! I never knew how much I would love Cochins! My mom picked up two little chicks (one died) and she was told they were Mille Fleur's. I was kind of excited to have the Milles because they looked like a really pretty breed! Well the only chick who survived wasn't turning out like any of the pictures of the Fleurs's! We finally discovered he was a Cochin

I love this little guy! He is a riot! He loves chasing our Dachshunds and tells them who is boss

He is turning into a very beautiful rooster! I also love his little butt too, so cute!

I'm hoping in the future my mom will let me get more.... let's hope!
