Recently I had a batch like yours that are too friendly and have attempted to jump up to grab stuff out of my hands. They had become too forward as they reached sexual maturity. They follow me around like mob. I have accidentally kicked a few as they walk in front of me and I'm a bit clumsy. It does help knock it off a bit to give them a corrective poke, either with you foot or your hand, and not allow forward behaviors. Petting chickens is often seen as a submissive behavior. So shagging her off or giving her a peck is what I would try. Some chickens are always looking to be dominant.Yea, I'll carry her around or sit with her in my lap and calmly stroke her and talk to her. She loves it. She really is a sweet bird and I don't think she means to bite. She's just very aggressive about food and knows that treats come in my hands so she's always pecking at my fingers.
I don't think there really is anything that can be done. I find that my birds mellow out from their high strung teenage phase after their first molt so maybe I just chill till this fall and see if that doesn't get her to chill out a bit.
