When my Bantams hatch - they are about the size of my thumb - I can probably fit 3 or 4 in just the palm of my hand.
Not all birds that are white hatch that way. They sometimes have black or a grayish color on their back, and will turn white as they mature and feather in.

My silver penciled bantams are here! I ordered 6 from Ideal through a friend, and we lost 4 in shipping
So, I am down to 2, but they are adorable!
My hope is that one of these is a roo (a pair would be FANTASTIC) that I can cross to a good quality Partridge hen to try to improve type while I scour the earth looking for more silver pencileds.
