i was amazed at all the fluffy tushies there, both large and small!this is the first time i've ever gone to one of the poultry shows and i'm hoping next year i might be able to bring a bird or two!![]()
i was disappointed that no one had any barred cochins in either size being shown or for sale. i have a very nice looking boy but i was hoping to get an idea of what to look for in him by comparing what they had there. i was also hoping to get a girl or two for him.does anyone know about barred birds and what it could mean if there is an occasional black feather? does this mean he could have been a cross of barred and solid black parents?![]()
Hi, Not sure what you mean totally. I can say that no I do not let my show birds roost. They are on the floor with deep clean bedding.![]()
Sorry I meant mess up their breast or feathers? My cockerels and cocks do not roost, but my pullets do, I need to know if I need to remove their roosts? Thanks
