Cochin Thread!!!

Could someone tell me what age can you tell the gender of Cochin bantam chicks? I've had Silkies for a few years and you have to wait a few months with those little guys.
You can tell the genders at a few weeks with Cochins, correct?

Ok, so I finally got updated pics of my cochin - since I am new to cochins, maybe you guys can comment on whether it's actually a blue or splash?? Also, last time I posted, everyone thought it was a boy - still think so???
He/she is now 11 weeks old - name: Monsoon (it will fit boy or girl at least!)

How Pretty!! I just got started with the Cochins too. I have 2 blue and 1 black. Im not 100% sure but Im gonna guess u have a rooster. Im also guessing but he looks like a Self Blue, they are a lot lighter than a Blue.
Here is my Blue Rooster......He will be a year old in June.

Mostly they are not going to be anything approaching a recognized variety. Most chicks with the chipmonk stripes on them are a silver  penciled or Partridge. I think you will have some beautiful interesting birds . They probably will not fit in any variety description but will look great running around. Enjoy

it is a boy.These are better pics of the colour. It does look less self Blue In these pics. But still like a self blue. Here are some pics of some i had a while back
