How bad do I want Cochins…Up at 4am because I had to scrub in surgery over an hour away for 2 sick scrub techs….left Johns Creek at 4 and drove out to McDonough because a wonderful TSC employee sent me a Cochin text…get my babies and finally arrive home at 8pm then out to gather eggs and get the new babies settled in the giant baby playpen I have built in my basement. My wonderful hubby had a big steak and baked potato waiting for me. Can life get any better?![]()
The one I found already passed was a tiny OEB, no further issues everyone is fine and running around their big brooder like they had been drinking my coffee.I'm sorry. I know what you mean. It is not easy to lose them. I hope the rest do well.
Yup hope so to. I lost one feathered foot from the group, she just got weak and faded away despite my efforts, but everyone else is hopped up and running around their big playpen.Hopefully the tsc employee knows their breeds and didnt give ya a millie duccle or porcelain duccle on accident. They have feathered feet too and folks get them confused.
Someone said sight unseen that I may get one of those in the bunch if the eye was not trained that picked them out. I know I would not know. I'm calling the little orange one Ducky because she loves to stand in water and goes to sleep that way, if I take her out and put her away from it she runs straight back to stand in it again. They have a trip waterer but I give them small amounts in a dish at first to transition them over. Thanks for the the assist, does that mean the other 2 are cochins and any idea of the type?the little orange one with the puffy cheeks is a mille Fleur D'uccle.
