Thank-you! He was very unexpected. I got them at 1 week old and was told both parents were blue so expect black, blue and splash. I saw pics of parents only. So not sure where he came from but I love him

That's so odd haha
I hope to add more LF barreds to my pen at some point, but for now I just have Wilson. After getting him I just fell in love with the barred colors.
This was him when he was young (He still thinks he's allowed to sit on my shoulders, but he's getting too big lol)

I think this one was taken about a month ago-two months.

And here is him now. He's getting so big! Still not full grown though haha.

He's very handsome! Thanks now I know what to expect from "Harley" I really think he looks like he's wearing onesie Pajamas right now lol. Am I right that about 1/2 of his offspring with a black or blue hen would be barred?

My only Cochin, Penguin, 4 months old, still unsure about sex and size, I thought bantam but now I don't think so.
Sure is cute though!

Another cool color is Mille Fleur and Calico (these are some mille fleur cochins, smooth and frizzled)

I LOVE the Blue mottled! Never seen that before!

I had a cochin a few years ago, She went broody for a month every other month, We are wanting to get more, Have any of you guys eaten LF Cochin?

cool I have never heard of any other d'uccle other than a mille fleur. It was in a mixed bantam group at tractor supply.
