Cochin Thread!!!

Hi all
I'm new to the world of chickens (and completely hooked

and my chicks are 3 weeks old. One was supposed to be a Buff Cochin and it's definitely a Cochin but not very buff - it's more blue / lavender. It's a beautiful chick (and ridiculously cuddly and sweet) and I'm wondering if the colors as chick stay true to the color of a mature chicken?

It's either a blue or LAV hard to tell which at this age.

I love all of these pics of everyone's cochins!! Mine arrive in June...I ordered a cochin bantam assortment and I wasn't going to order any standards but then I was drawn completely towards the white standard cochins....I am weak,lol. So also in the order are four white cochin hens and one white cochin roo.

yeah i want some white cochins. they are just begging to be called "Snowball"
