Cochin Thread!!!

Thanks, guys. I'm really loving these birds. I got some whites last year that weren't so white, but these are just beautiful. I'm very happy with them. And I've got some babies from the whites growing in the bator right now. No trimming, no AI-I can't believe it, with all of that fluff. I've actually got a trio of the whites, but the other hen wasn't in the picture.

i have a trio of decent mottled hens (not as good of qualtity ad the blues) that i plan on mating to the blue rooster to start with blue mottled, i also have some lavenders that are decent that i am mating to a mottled roo to start mottled lavender
 
In the picture with the white ones, what is that greenery growing? I should know but just cannot think. Thanks
 
:idunnoWhat is a COCHIN? They look like fat chickens with feathery legs. Are they like Silkies? They are really cute.Are they small? I never heard of them...do they need any special care/food? I think I'dlike to get some if I can find them anywhere.
