Great pics, everyone! I only have one Cochin, my lavender bantam, Shadow, but she is the coolest little princess!

Hey, if any of you have some standard Cochin hatching eggs to send out and live out toward the west coast, our pal Ellie may need some for a broody hen. I try to send eggs to her, but the P.O. doesn't like things going from GA to CA it seems from the way they handle the package.

Here is her ad in WTB:

How old are yours, Laurie? They still look young.

Chickie'sMoma - I can get you the information for the person I got my eggs from if you'd like - she's on the east coast too.

I have two little Mottled Cochin chicks right now too that I think are a pair - I'll have to get pictures of them up soon! There were some ducklings in the brooder with them up until two days ago, so they're a little dirty and disheveled right now.

oooh! i'd love that! the hard part is trying to sneak in hatching eggs from other breeders at the moment! i'm lucky i've been able to hide 4 chicks i bought at the last chicken swap i went to and 3 were different colored banty cochins-blue, barred and a frizzled red! i need to get pics of those little cuties for everyone!

I had 5 columbian pullet babies at the last couple of swaps. Janet and I ended up trading the last two for Lt. Brahmas.
I think Heather and Jen still have a few babies left.

Edited to add they I had Colubian Wyandottes, not Cochins.............sorry.

They are all so cute!

Here are mine, right know they are charging around the living room like they are on caffeine. Not sure what got into them. They have a crate and I let them run around the living room since they are too young for outside and I still need to get a coop built. Though it's a ton of fun having them to watch play around the living room. I'm grateful for hardwood floors! They are about 5 or 6 weeks old.

Taking over the dog's crate, must be more comfortable than theirs!

Poppy looks like she's wearing snow boots with her feathered feet or fuzzy pajama bottoms!

Forgot to say they are bantams.
