I just hope they don't grow porcupine quills!

If their feathers grow in okay, I think we're good. I will just have to band them all with green bands so I know they're the "easter egg cochins".

I've dealt with this person before - only once, won't again. PM me if you want to know more.

i bought my first set of eggs from her. bantam polish and only had one hatch-my Chickie who i helped out of the shell. he's not show quality and i had someone mention to me that he might be crossed with something else. but he is a very sweet roo and loves being around me (can't stand to be near any other birds though)! i wouldn't buy from her again though. i just noticed that a few of her pics aren't even her's! they were taken from the Feather Site page!

I try not to call anyone my favorite anymore, seems like everytime I do, something goes wrong~ What's really sad is, the little BC hen in with Sunny laid her first egg a few days ago. Who knows, maybe it's fertile and I'll get a roo. What are the chances..... not very good

BTW Lynne~ I have a beautiful little calico roo from the MFC's I bought from you last fall, he's just beautiful. They quit laying before I got any more eggs, hopefully they will be starting up again soon~

Yes, favorites are dangerous.
Here is my favorite boy, Apollo.
I'm hoping he gives me many babies this year, so they can all be my favorites!
Any ideas on what you would call his coloring?
Lemon Blue is getting popular, but he looks different to me. I call him a Sunset.

Neat coloring! I have no idea what color anyone would call that.

However, I have noticed in the chicken world there seems to be more colors than there are names. I love to see all the unusual bird colors.

Could be fertile- 11 of 12 of my first cochin eggs were fertile, and 8 hatched. Try it, it might work.
