Cochin Thread!!!

I should credit Yonder Oak Poultry, in Tribbey, Oklahoma, for Millie, Ginger, Sophie and Flash. My Partridge Cockerel and Buff cockerel are also from them. I hope to get some Barred Pullets from them too.

Of all the beautiful breeds to choose from, Cochins are for sure the breed for me.
I have thought about Bantam Salmon Favarolles too, because I like beards, but Cochins are first.

Thank You!
How many barred do you have? I don't need to start another color flock but I got a Barred roo and I just can't part with him. I'm thinking between Barred and Mottled. I already have a pair of Black mottled. If I find a nice Barred hen.......Hmmm ....Which is to go .....?
I am trying to have restraint...... Ha!

I have three black barred split to buff barred, two females one male. I have two buff barred split to black barred, probably both males. Then I have four Mille Fleurs, all four males. I don't have many options with this crowd!

If it will only take a few pictures to help you feel better I will post a few.

Another young male

Why do they often look so much better at home than in a picture?
