OK, I took new pics of Jack today out in the pen. He looks a lot more natural in his pen. What do you all think? Better?

See how his "eyebrows" are long? That's what they were talking about trimming. I think some do, some don't. When you go to the show, be sure and see what most others are going.

I think he'll still get a few points off for the color leakage and comb, but I think he's worthy of the trip to the show.

PS - You know I've been somewhat critical in the past of the the way you edit/fancy up the backgrounds of your pics - which, IMHO, detract from the birds. I think the first pic is probably the best pic I've ever seen you post! Simple, natural, I love it! Good job!

how do yall breed ur cochins ... im doing the natrual thing now and its not working

i cant/do not want to cut the feathers yet ( im showing till march

) .. and the roos have so much fluff i cant get the junk when i do AI ... i know how to do it with my oegb and my breeder quality cochins ,but these fluff balls
