I'm still looking for some top quality pullets or hens to put with my old show-boy black bantam cochin. Looks like I'm going to have to wait till fall. He is such an old rooster I was afraid he would die before I found some nice girls for him. He is running around the barn like he owns it and seems to be a lot happier these days... girls or not!

Wow! I particularly love that little splash ball-o-feathers. (I'm so proud). I'm glad you're happy and I can tell they are in a great home that will love them.

I bought eggs and had them shipped to me. The breeeder says she has white and buff Cochins in the same pen. Here are the babies. Very cute and just what I wanted. I do have 2 questions. #1- Will they stay white or might some change into a buff color? #2- See the chick on the left. It has dark legs. What's up with that?

(not yellow).

BBrock if that chick came out of a lemon blue pen it could be a very light splash, I had a few that looked almost white.

Robert there was a really pretty black roo in that group too, don't have a picture of him because a friend of mine took him and a few others for showing and breeding - he was all boy even at 8 weeks, ruled the roost

Im not trying to be smart. So please don't take this the wrong way. But she said they were from a white and buff pen. How could they be splash. Idk much bout the whites and buffs I have all blues two are split to black and the other two are split to splash. With a lemon blue roo. Again please don't take this the wrong way im just new to them colors
