The blue boy I have is small too. Makes him nice and easy on the girls at least. Since I only hatch mutts off him anyways, doesnt matter to me. I've love to replace him with a nicer size exhibition quality bird, but he is too nice of a rooster to get rid of.

I have plenty of blue, black, splash bantam cochins, but I have ONE red bantam cochin rooster.

He's my avatar picture.


I tried buying red hatchery chicks to breed to him, but their type and color was so poor that I got rid of them.

Anyone know of good red bantam cochin hens or pullets for sale? Anywhere?


I need to use this rooster before he gets too old to breed!

He really is a treasure that needs to be continued
