I would also like to refer back to Gail's post. Not only when your looking or not looking for info, you should also take the time to read threads before you post your opinion. Ive noticed alot of people voice their opinion just because they have seen a picture, without even looking at the info attached to it.

you're white/splashed boy is not a cochin, maybe he's a Marans. your girl looks to be a silver laced cochin. she doesn't have much for a cushion but her color looks clean to me. but i don't consider myself an expert on this and i'm sure there will be some other opinions on this.

It was stated in this post along with the pictures that she has a SL Cochin hen and that she had bred him over the Marans male pictured. Wasnt asking what she had, she knew that, she was asking what the outcome of the cross would be.

Just wanted to say to anyone in a state expecting severe weather tomorrow to be safe and hope that the weather evades you all. Under the gun (again) here in KY for later today. Had a tornado less than 1/8 of a mile from where we were day before yesterday, but everyone is safe and no damage to report. Sadly cant say the same for the people down the road who lost everything in the tornado. Stay safe everyone, and be aware! Dont want to find out anyone was injured or worse from this weather.

Oh my God nica, I'm not trying to be insulting and I hope you take this in the spirit it is offered, but that adolescent behind his moma is so ugly he's adorable. I can't help but want to pick him up and love on him.

Oh Casey, I have been thinking about everyone south of me. I'm in the SW corner of Ohio and I THINK I'm going to miss the tornado threats. It looks like we're just going to get severe thunder storms. You guys have really been hammered the past 10/12 months. I'll think of you tomorrow and pray for you the same as I will pray for my all my chickens. We should be good, but we all know what can happen if the wind kicks up really bad.

Tornado warnings for us in Southern Indiana as well. I'm glad I'm home today, it makes me feel better knowing I'm here doing all I can to protect the birds. Wish I could bring them all in the house for safety.

Yes for all of you under the gun today please stay safe. We here in Missouri went through that last year with Joplin being hit so tragically and St. Louis got it too. We will all be praying for you all.
