Cochin Thread!!!

I have had my 2 Cochins for 2 weeks and I can't believe how much they've grown and fluffed up! They are now 10 weeks and oh my goodness! I have my 10 week old d'Uccle in with them and of course they tower over her! I am so happy with these birds. They are gorgeous. I'm still trying to get them to be more friendly and I'm holding them every evening. I hope with patience they will be sweet birds.

That's Great Danny!! I've been hoping to see mottled buff more prevalent in cochins. Its a color I'd try if I had the space

I hatched some babies from my own flock, they're super cute!!! I really like this one:

I think its from my blue frizzle roo and partridge hen. I got some chicks like this too:

The picture makes it look a little dark, but its a pretty chocolaty brown, even their little legs and feet are brown! I'm excited to see how they feather out does anyone have or have you had chicks similar to these- if so, what did they end up looking like as adults? Thanks!

I went to my first show today!

I was so excited, and the Cochins were just gorgeous! I can't wait to see how Black Cochin Bantams did!
