top one looks like some kind of mixed color and I would have to say the bottom is definately not mottled. I've never seen a barred so I have no idea

looks to be some kind of partridge based pattern. my gold laced male doesn't look like that, you can tell they are a single lacing

Can I get some more opinions to be sure? I hope it is a GL, I don't like the Partridge color. But it is what it is. Just want to know. Thx

looks like you have 3 blue mottles, 2 splash, a laced variety (GL or partridge) and a columbian based chick

I went to my first show today!

I was so excited, and the Cochins were just gorgeous! I can't wait to see how Black Cochin Bantams did!

I got home about 5 minutes ago. Over 400 miles with the last 50 in a driving rain.
A Mottled hen was Best Variety, Best of Breed and Best Featherleg. Matt McCammon had Best of Variety and reserve Breed with a Black Cock bird. Shari had Reserve Black with a pullet. She also had Best hen. I had the Best Black Cockerel, 2nd best Black Cock bird and Black Hen. I didn't have any competition in Birchen, Columbian, Partridge so I got BV in those.

Did you enjoy the show? Wish I could have met you. I had a great time considering all the rain.
