Cochins and Their broodiness.

Im ordering cochins for them to hatch out eggs. I've found out the are the most broody breed. When the get mature, Is all they do is go broody? Will i get a cochin that wont ever go broody? Please help!

There are individual variations, so it is possible to have a hen that won't be broody. But I would guess that most Cochin hens will go broody. Of course they won't be broody all the time.

If you are buying at least a few Cochins, they should do the job and hatch chicks for you.
 
Do you plan to breed Cochins or just use the Cochin hens as brooders?

From what I understand, Cochins are a docile breed, but they don't lay many eggs.
