I think the first one (that is hatched - only one hatched so far) is a silver laced wyandotte - so far none of the cochin eggs are pipped, but it is just the end of day 20 tomorrow I may see more action. I have two more pipped.

on another note, I had acquired some sick hens with similar symptoms of yours (I found out others had died and some showed no symptoms) I wound up returning the birds. The owner didn't realize the ones she gave me were sick....anyways she got a necropsy report done and it was ornithobacterium rhinotracheale which, apparently, has become much more common. Here's a link to the thread and has info on cures....sulfamet and tetracycline, I believe.
