I am very new to cochins (standard), I just hatched out my first shipped BBS cochins. So from the pic which ones are black ,blue, splash? Or so I have any splash? I am so excited about this breed!

I bought my first two cochins today - this is Sugar, I love that she was so comfy that she went right to sleep in my hand. I'm new to this breed, so what coloring will she have? The other is yellow, how will she look?

I have had bantam cochins for years....I show them locally and sell eggs and started birds when I can. Since we are in Maine, it's a bit difficult since we are not in the middle of the poultry show world. I basically have black and barred birds right now, But I'm working on red, buff, white, columbian and may get some nice blues from my lonesome splash hen. My started chicks of the moment include some cute white frizzles.

Our Chief chicken herder at Buzzard air lines.

When JoAnn isn't herding chickens she is herding the sheep or chasing the pig. These are some of our LF Black Cochins
