Cockerel crowing ALL THE TIME!

I have a young cockerel about 12 weeks (?) who crows literally non-stop. Is this how I should expect him to be forever? Do you think he'll crow less once he's outside in the coop?

At 12 weeks, he should have been outside a long, long time ago. Roosters crow, that's what they do, enjoy it! I have a whole yard of roosters.

It's still pretty chilly here and he is a Serama. Being so little I keep them in a bit longer than your average chicken.

They have started going out on warm days though but come in at night.

As soon as a chick is feathered out, it will be fine outside as long as there is a place for it to get out of the weather if need be. If you are concerned, put a light out in your coop so they can get under it if they get cold. He will be much happier outside, trust me. Don't you love how those little banties crow! They are a riot!
