Cockerel dominance

Was wondering if i can sex my silkies based on there behavior towards the cockerel i introduced they pretty much stick to like glue like the other pullets

Edit: the white silkie had to have a hair cut from some unknown sticky substance stuck so crest inst good option

Probably has more to do with sticking with the existing flock and avoiding the newbie.
Tho usually the existing flock attacks any newcomers.
How old are all the birds and how long since the new cockerel was added?

the cockeral was added 5 days ago the rest of the flock beens together for 1-2 months and they are 13 weeks silkies about 16 weeks if not older purchased at 2-3 months

What breed and age is the new cockerel?

mix just like the other pullets all came from same hatch but cockerels were seperate yard until recently
