Cockerel injured badly please help

Can you post some more photos that a less close up, so we can see his whole head and any other injuries?

I agree those are fly larvae and they need to be cleaned off asap. If they are on the head, then it's important to clean out the ears, nares (nostrils), eyes, inside the beak, etc. The maggots will do a lot of damage in a short period of time.

Knowing where you are located in the world is also helpful so we can suggest products that can be used.

Personally since this seems to be on head/face - then saline would be the best thing to use for flushing the maggots, since it can be used to flush out eyes as well.
In between flushing, apply triple antibiotic ointment to wounds.

Do keep the bird hydrated as well. Look forward to more info and photos.

Is he able to drink at all? If not, then syringe drops of the electrolytes into him.

Came home and found my cockerel injured badly don't know what attacked him. 😞. Also has these white things on his head. Please any help what is the white stuff.
Vetericyn spray..keep it for future problems if you can’t get it now. At the store in the first aid section, they have pressurized cans of sterile saline..stock a few to spray down and clean wounds. There are many wonderful first aid products for chickens, like the Vetericyn, just don’t use hydrogen peroxide..it’s very bad for healing tissue. Don’t use anything with “caine“ at the end like lidocaine etc. Don’t give human drugs like ibuprofen or Tylenol. If plain mild soap is what you have, use it with some boiled, cooled water and dress the wound. Apply an antibiotic ointment, the plain bacitracin zinc is better than triple stuff. Make up a first aid kit f your poultry..disposable scalpels, Vetericyn, self stick wrap, sterile gauze etc..
edit..I shouldn’t have said bacitracin was “better,” but in humans, they tend to use it because sometimes the triple antibiotic ointment causes reactions, so, that’s why I said that. I tend to use that on myself..and I’ve had over 15 surgeries, I do have some experience with at least how humans heal up after stitches, glue, staples, drains, etc..

Better to add electrolyte powder in small doses to food (when healthy in extreme heat only) so the water can be fresh and pure..that way they can flush whatever they need to without overdosing. Sick, injured birds are different..
