Cockerel looking pullet

I have what I thought was going to be a cockerel now laying eggs! She has very shiny and pointy feathers, no big sickle feathers but definitely saddle feathers and she raises her hackles and plays with the other young cockerel, has super thick legs but just started laying eggs

How are you sure "She" is laying eggs? Kinda looks like a roo........

It looks like that your chicken may turn out to be a hen. I also have a almost 3 and 1 week old Speckled Sussex chick whose tail is super high and started to curve and have shiny green feathers but than 'her' comb should be way bigger if 'she's' a cockerel and I am very confused.

But yeah, you chicken definitely looks very much like a rooster.

I only have 7 other hens and for the last 3 days I’ve gotten 8 eggs a day, she doesn’t lay them on the nest, I find them outside and they have an extra calcium layer on them and appear chalky not like my other hens eggs

I agree she looks that way but I’m sure I don’t have a different hen laying 2 eggs a day…

Well I’m not sure about who’s laying but it’s definitely not this bird. This bird is no doubt a cockerel.

What breeds do you have? It's not unusual for some high production breeds to lay twice when they start out.
