Cockerel or just a butt of a hen?

Based on coloring, his comb & wattles, and his posture I'm going to say cockerel. Are you sure he's only 8 weeks? He looks closer to 11 or 12. I think I see some hackle feathers starting to come in, and it looks like his tail feathers are starting to curve down.

Maybe, he was hatched mid-March.
