Cockerel or Pullet? 1 day old.

Good morning! Adorable! Could you post another pic showing the comb? (My gut hunch is cockerel. Disclosure: I am not anything close to an expert! Just my gut reaction, lol.)

It's not too young to determine with fair accuracy. You'd need good leg pic.

Here's the real gig. Did you hatch it? Obtain it from feed store or hatchery? Is it an extra tossed in for "warmth"?

If you hatched it a good leg pic would go a long way in guessing sex. If from a feed store or hatchery odds are it's a layer. If an extra tossed in an order from hatchery then it's certainly a cockerel.

I agree with @Frazzemrat1, no obvious cockerels signs as of now. But 5 weeks is kind of on the bubble for age. Post more pics in couple more weeks.
