They just need to clear their airways occasionally. I'd say hen. Tail feathers are straight, not very short or very long or curled, and her feet are small. Also, she sounds like a hen to me. Roosters are raspier.
Male ISA browns do have a lot of white.
Thank you so much!Red sexlinks are sexable by coloring. Females are red with white. Males are solid white and develop red leakage through the shoulder area. You definitely have a female. If you look closely at the tail, you'll notice that she's only got a couple tail feathers. She's going through a juvenile molt. Completely normal and nothing to worry about.
