I realize you've posted a lot of pics, and that 'larger bird' could be a roo, but could you post close-up head shots??

I think both birds look male. Knowing age and seeing combs would also help.

The older one is 4 months old and the other is 31/2 months old. It's rainy out today but I'll try.

Yesterday I noticed the older one tried to jump on one of the white pullets I have. Boy did she scurry away. Is this the starting of other male behavior as well? I think it is. We thought we heard one crow yesterday but I tried to listen for it to crow but it was too cold to stay out there very long.You guessed it I didn't hear any crowing today.
