So I have 9 chicks 7 week olds, mixed breeds. I don't have individual pictures of each.
However some are a little stockier almost, shorter tails. Others are "prouder", longer tail almost sleeker looking, but don't have a red comb. Here's what I mean. (a bad picture, as he isn't standing as tall as normal) his tail is usually a little higher.
I have a few like this. Longer tails.
I can't tell who are roosters and who are hens, only that their appearances are different (but I'm not sure if that's just a variation due to being mixed breed).
Can someone help?
I also included a picture of 3 chicks, you can see the greys are stockier in this one and there's that tall, proud black 20171216_112635.jpg

I’m suspicious of the barred chick, that’s a good bit of comb and color for 7 weeks. The rest don’t look too obvious yet, so fingers crossed for pullets.

It's hard to tell, because my black chicks all look more like rooster. Longer tails, taller stance. Whereas my barreds look more like hens despite a few having red combs. My rooster has a rose comb while my hens have a single.

I’d give them a little more time, another month should make them much easier to tell, especially the tall lanky birds.
