I am not really seeing any difference in combs between the two. What confuses me is that his/her comb should be red by now unless he is a late developing cockerel. I would post again in a few weeks and see.

Update:
Definitely cockerel. His comb has become more red.
Looks like I gotta start trying to find him a new home as my mother doesn't want to keep him.
