Cockerel with potential infection

I can't see well in the pictures exactly where the wounds under his wing are.
You say he's a new introduction. So you have other roosters?
Is there a wound on the other side under his wing?
I agree it looks like he has an infection.
I would buy some Chlorhexedine while you're shopping and use that to clean the wounds.
You need to keep the Chlorhexedine in contact with the wound for about 20 seconds. It's not a wipe type wound cleaner.
Looking at the two wounds I'm wondering if you do have a senior rooster whether the senior rooster is trying to mate with your new guy (?)
The ear wound would be consistent with another rooster not quite getting a proper grip on the neck feathers and the wound under his wing could well be spur damage.

Thanks for the input. The wing damage is only on the one side, and is largely on top. I do have another rooster. He is about two months older, and is too busy trying to woo ladies to bother with this little guy. I did observe the flock as closely as possible for the first couple days after integration. The broody that raised them is a fierce protector. I think I saw the initial injury occur. It was on the roost and little guy was trying to crawl under the wrong bird. My Hamburg nailed him.
I don't watch them all day, though, so an altercation between roosters is a possibility.

I don't doubt that it does. It might have. I just haven't witnessed any interest in this little guy from my other cockerel. I'm actually a little surprised by his lack of interest.

Meds shipped this morning. Scheduled delivery on Friday. Fingers crossed that he hangs in there.

He's such a good patient. If he does make it, I suspect I may end up with a lap rooster.
