Here's one more picture of the Brahma, he look really cockerelish in this picture
Later I'll take a few more pictures of the others. It's like 102 f out right now, lol!

Oh wow! I'm glad it isn't that hot where I live (Southern Hemisphere, so winter here - still warm though!). It is hard to see that picture well because of the fuzziness, but still doesn't look like a cockerel to me. I'm only seeing pullet feathers, and at 17 weeks a cockerel would be more obvious.
Ok thanks! I was hoping for a boy, I'll give the chicks a few more weeks before I start looking for a good cockerel. She was crowing about five minutes ago and the all the hens squat for him/ her. It's slightly confusing! Especially with the fertile eggs. I wish it was winter here!

There is a slight chance the Brahma is a cockerel. It's just that she looks nothing like one (to me, at least). Maybe you have a late bloomer? Chickens don't just squat for roosters, it is also a sign of submission. So if you have a dominant pullet, the others might squat for her.
You're right. When she/he was a chick, s/he had a red comb and wattles and a full curly tail. I was confident he was a rooster. If anything s/he is the dominant hen.
Oh well. There probably is a good rooster needing a good home.
