It's very rare, but sometimes pullets do crow.View attachment 1237315 View attachment 1237313 View attachment 1237312 View attachment 1237311 View attachment 1237309 Okay everyone here is an update. She is 4 months old now and I’m positive she’s a girl BUT my father in law swears up and down he is hearing her crow. I haven’t heard it myself and quite frankly I don’t believe it because she looks so much like a girl to me! The rose comb has reddened more but is still pretty flat and seems to be more orangey rather than a deep red, some wattles have come in finally, and I don’t see any pointy saddle feathers they all look very round to me, plus she just carries herself like a girl she’s not dominant whatsoever. Any opinions?! Do pullets ever try to crow?!
I was very suspicious when I first saw her as a young chick, I thought the neck feathers looked a bit roosterish back then. But now I can definitely see you have a hen! She's very lovely looking too.View attachment 1237315 View attachment 1237313 View attachment 1237312 View attachment 1237311 View attachment 1237309 Okay everyone here is an update.
