I’m pretty sure I have a cockerel here but wanted verification. Labeled Olive Egger from Ideal Poultry. About 5/6 weeks old now.
I bought 3 along with some other breeds. The other two OE are darker in color and don’t have the larger comb this one has.
Thank you in advance!!

Hello
What a beautiful baby
Yes he looks like a young roo 😅

Thanks! I’m slowly learning. It’s much easier for me when I have some to compare to.
So far I think the rest are pullets but we’ll see.

No need of thanks friend 🤗
Yes in early days it is a tough task to determine them one of my rooster's act like a hen until we hear his crowing lol 😂
8 week - 9 week are perfect for knowing the gender but some birds have very good dominated personality that gives signs like the RED Comb Growth
And some pointy feathers 😍

We just added two cockerels to our main flock so we weren't looking to add another, but I guess we are now. We have plenty of ladies to go around. Haha.
I may be adding pics of the others in the next couple of weeks to see what everyone thinks. :)
