3 months (about 13 weeks) old, leghorn mix. I asked a few weeks ago about a few in my flock, but now this one is bigger. No crowing. My other cockerels are already crowing. It gives me hope that maybe this is a pullet.

Cockerel for sure…I think I see male saddles, but even if I saw wrong about the saddles, that’s a really red comb and earlobe.3 months (about 13 weeks) old, leghorn mix. Interesting! Thanks! I'm glad he's not dominant at this point. I have 2 others that are. They're the same age, but different breeds. I had a glimmer of hope that this one could surprise me and be a pullet, so I wouldn't have to rehome. Darn!Cockerel... and if your other cockerels are crowing, then that's why this one isn't. Only the dominant bird(s) crow, its how they claim territory, resources and the ladies. If he started crowing, he risks getting flogged by the others.
My leghorn pullets (14 weeks) have much smaller combs.3 months (about 13 weeks) old, leghorn mix. I asked a few weeks ago about a few in my flock, but now this one is bigger. No crowing. My other cockerels are already crowing. It gives me hope that maybe this is a pullet.
