Cockerel?

This bird is now 4 months old. Barnyard mix.
I am still trying to figure out if it is male or female.
Originally it was identified as female at about 2 months old.
Then a month later the votes changed to male.
Another month has passed and honestly, I still cannot tell. It is one of seven.
It is one of the largest of its siblings but the comb is not as red and also smaller than of those who are obvious males.
The obvious females do have a smaller combs.

I think it might be a roo. Compare feet size to the hens if you can. Bigger feet would mean a roo.

Do you know what it's mixed with? I'm inclined to say a slow developing cockerel, as the comb is pretty large.

Ah, ok. I was wondering if the mother was barred and the father wasn't. In that case he would be sex-linked, and for sure a cockerel. I still think he's a boy, you may just have to wait longer to be sure.

It is dark now.
I will try to take some photos tomorrow.
These guys are very difficult to get on camera.
Whenever I try to take a PIC, they always seem to want to move.

I got these photos this morning.
While the comb is smaller than all the brothers, I do think that it is a cockerel and I am just engaging in wistful thinking, especially since at 2 months old, the consensus was that out of my seven, there were 5 or 6 pullets.
Now it looks like only 2 are pullets.
